Creating something

I was talking with my Dad and he mentioned it is really easy to consume media and I whole heatedly agree. It reminded me of this talk from Joe Armstrong the programmer ( I could not find the video) but he mentioned it should be just as easy to produce things as it is to consumer. I do think people, myself very much included, focus on the entertainment part of the internet, looking at feeds, etc. It is much easier to consume and algorithms are really good at picking interesting things to look at. But I really want to be the change in the world and so I want to produce a little more. I have been taking more pictures of my kids and sending them to friends and family, which I consider producing content, and I am trying to make more phone calls to loved ones as well. But in addition to that I want to continue this blog and put my thoughts here.
